- אִירָאm. (אור, cmp. חור) white substance, undyed wool or cotton. Sabb.11b; (Tosef. ib. I, 8 missing). Ib. 79a דוגמא לא׳ a sample color for the wool (given to the dyer).Pl. אִירִין. B.
